Travel protection is an important part of helping your clients prepare for the unexpected. Memory Makers Travel currently offers two travel protection options — Travel Guard and Allianz — giving you additional choices when determining which product may be appropriate for your client’s trip.
Travel protection can be particularly helpful when a client’s vacation includes multiple components or suppliers. Depending on the trip and available plans, one option may offer advantages in coverage or cost over another.
Your Role as a Travel Agent
Memory Makers Travel agents are not licensed insurance agents. Our role is to present available travel protection products and provide clients with the information they need to make their own decision about purchasing coverage.
We can also assist clients with providing documentation during the claim filing process. However, agents should not interpret policy provisions, determine whether a claim is covered, or make decisions regarding claims. Those decisions are made by the insurance provider.
